Hello Manor View families, My name is Monica Ramsey and I am unbelievably excited to teach Second grade this year at this wonderful school! This is my first year teaching; however I have been a substitute teacher for Anne Arundel County for two years and I actually was a long term sub here at Manor View at the end of the last school year so I know exactly how amazing our students and families are! I originally started a career in the world of accounting but realized that it was time for a change. I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. I completed my Bachelor's program at Western Governor's University and will begin my Master's program next month. During the summer months, I spend time with my family. Disney is my favorite place to go and we try to get there once every 2-3 years. I am a positive person and I love to smile. I look forward to an exciting year! ~ Mrs. Ramsey/Second Grade Teacher

Hello, Manor View families! My name is Mrs. Regina Dove and I am joining Manor View as a 4th grade teacher! This is my 6th year teaching and I am super excited to be part of the Manor View community. For the past 5 years I taught special education and English/Language Arts for middle school and high school, but my background is elementary and special education. 2017/2018 was a very special school year for me; I got married, the Philadelphia Eagles won the Superbowl and I adopted my 75 pound lapdog Megatron! I am confident that this year will be just as special. I can't wait to meet all of you and to have a fantastic year with 4th grade! Hello Manor View Families! My name is Amber Snapp and I will be teaching third grade this year at Manor View. While this will be my first year teaching in my own classroom, I have been in education for the past 5 years as a substitute teacher, TSA, and most recently a long term substitute in special education. I went through the AACPS school system myself and graduated from Chesapeake High School in Pasadena where I still currently reside. I moved to Virginia to a small town called Rocky Mount for 2 years to begin my college career at Liberty University majoring in Elementary Education. I finished my degree online which allowed for me to return back home to Pasadena. I am now engaged to be married and have 2 wonderful children; Kaycee who is 10 and Konner who will be 1 in September. We love to take family adventures whether it be a walk down the road to go fishing or a family vacation to Myrtle Beach or Disney. I cannot wait to begin my teaching career at such a fantastic school and look forward to meeting all of my students and their families soon! Have you driven by Manor View recently and wondered, "Are they going to be able to open for school in a few weeks?" Rest assured, YES we will open! Our current phase on construction is a BIG one-- they are building the main entrance with a double vestibule entrance, new office (including main office, principal's office, conference room, guidance office, psychologist's office, teacher work room, health suite), new kitchen, new cafe and stage, new gym, new art room, new faculty and staff lounge, new volunteer room, and new playground (the courtyard (former media center) is also starting). Sometimes progress feels slow....especially when it rains and rains and rains. But truly, it's starting to come together. The recent addition of drywall, flooring, and paint is helping foreshadow the beauty that's coming soon! The next week will see many important items completed such as our new main parking lot, flooring, doors and final touches on the cafe, main office carpets/tile installation and office painting and kitchen equipment install. Beyond the new construction areas, all classrooms are getting new furniture. Teams are onsite now building each student desk and all classroom furniture. So much is happening and it's awesome to see it come together! Here are a few photos of the progress: 1. New office 2. Cafe/Gym 3. Cafe/Gym 4. Cafe/Stage 5. Stage 6. Kitchen 7. Art Room 8.
